Q. Do you have a shop?
A. No, when we set up the business in 2008 we decided to work from home and have a
Workshop/storage facility. This allows us to keep the prices as low as possible and provide
    our amazing demo service.
Q.  Can the electric Gocycle be ridden  like a normal bike if the battery runs out?
A.  Yes when we first rode the Gocycle we were amazed how well it handled?

Q.  How does the Helios tandem compare with a tag along for carrying a child?
A.   In our opinion the tandem offers a more stable and manoeuvrable option while
offering numerous other cycling opportunities as well.

Q.  Is the Bellabike easy to ride?
A.   Yes.

Q.  Is riding a trike like riding a two wheeled bicycle?
A.   No. All trikes handle differently to bikes.

Q.   How does rear wheel steering affect the trike?
A.  In our opinion its the best way to steer a trike as it offers greater manoeuvrability and
an amazing turning circle.  At Kids and Family Cycles you can try out rear wheel steering
trikes and double or single wheel steering trikes, all at the same time, and we are sure
    you will agree with us.

Q.   If I go for a trike with front wheel steering, which is better 1 or 2 wheel steering?
A.   Generally two wheels at the front steer far better than one.  We have single and two
wheeled front steering Trikes for you to  demo and compare. The two wheelers are
Great, however we find a single front wheel trike horrible to control, especially on roads
with any camber at all. Visit us on the south coast and see for yourself.

Q.   Can the Trikes handle hills?
A.   This depends on the rider, the gearing on the trike, the size of hill and the weight
of the trike and the cargo. As a mum having just had baby number 4, I was not cycle fit
and even small hills were an effort at first, but as you gain fitness, they will become
easier. Large steep hills are really only recommended for the really fit.

Q.   When I go fast around corners my Trike feels as if it will turn over.
       Could this happen?
A.   Physics dictates that any vehicle has it’s limits and this is true with any trike/bike.
Care should be taken with trikes going around sharp corners. Caution is a better option
      than speed.

Q.   Is the Zigo leader easy to convert?
A.   Very easy for an able bodied person.

Q.   How do I buy a Bellabike, Circe, Tandem,Taga or Zigo?
A.   We recommend trying any trike or bike before you buy it.  We are happy to email you a
formal quote. If you decide to buy from us we will accept all major debit/credit cards,
      cheque or bankers draft.

Next day delivery is available for a Zigo to your door. A Bellabike usually one to two weeks
      depending on your chosen specification.
